Diego Escobar has been touring internationally with Argentine dance companies for over 15 years, and has won many awards for his dance, choreography, and teaching.

Since 2002, he has been a member of Miguel Angel Zotto’s pretigious company “Tangox2”, appearing in venues as varied as the City Center Theater in New York in January 2007, Tokyo, Japana, and Teatro Astral in Buenos Aires. With “Tango x2”, Diego has traveled to Barcelona, Jerusalem, Rome, Milan, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Macao; and appeared on La Rai, the main Italian television channel, three times. He has shared the stage with renowned tango artists such as singer Raul Lavie, Piazzollas lyricist and poet Horacio Ferrer, and musician Rubén Juáz – who chose Diego to choreograph his show “Ardiente y Pasional”. He has also toured Argentina and Europe with his own company, “Tango Apasionado”, and appeared with “Piazzolla Tango”, as principal dancer in Rome with Orchestra Narcotango. Diego has also danced with Gran Ballet Argentino and Ballet Carols Paz, directed by Cristina Sánchez and Ballet Camin Cosquin

Diego and his partner, Angelina Staudinger, have recently performed at the renowned La Ventana, Casa de Tango, a showcase for Tango performances for more than 25 years in the historic San Telmo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, and in the show “Tango Intimo” in New York.

Angelina Staudinger has performed throughout Europe with several dance companies, and has taught both in Europe and Argentina. She has appeared at Teatro Del Sol in Buenos Aires, with Gran Ballet Argentino, Carlos and Rosa Pérez, two highly regarded Argentine Tango performers, and Gean Jucca Buzzi. She performed in the Festival Danzamerica with Gustavo Colmenarejo and the Aureliano trio.
